*goes up to your room in Hithlum and discovers your absence*
*asks around and finds out that you flew to Delving*
*isn't actually worried when you don't come back in the afternoon* *is just mildly curious* *and then perhaps slightly concerned* *and then goes to the airfield and orders his private jet to take him to Delving*
*quickly hears about a small redhead causing a disturbance at the library*
*makes his way there immediately* *really hopes his siblings don't hear about this*
I read all about it. I read about how we grew up together, how we murdered our way through Alqualonde together (who says romance is dead?), how even though I tried to get my father to send the boats back for you and didn't succeed, you still cut off my hand to save my life (sweet, Findekáno, very sweet).
Ask yourself why I had to read it, 'káno! Wait, what's the reason again? Because my own cousin, my own lover, my own king wasn't man enough to tell me himself!
Oh, put a sock in it, 'káno! You loved me enough to cut off my fucking hand and now you can't even bring yourself to tell me the fucking truth? Surely you can see why I'm upset! You don't fucking love me and it's like a fucking great hole that I'm trying to fill with memories that aren't even mine, it's just hearsay but it's all I have because you're such a fucking coward!
How difficult it is? You've come back with your full compliment of memories and your brother and your sister and your son! What have I come back with, 'káno? An ID card, that's what!
*shakes her head and covers her eyes with her hands*
*muffled* I learned their names. Maglor. Celegorm. Caranthir. Curufin. Amrod. Amras. I learned their names but I don't know what they look like.
*continues blithely* Oh, no. You were the monstrously tall one. Maglor was the singing one. Celegorm was the fair one. Caranthir was the dark, scowly one. Curufin was the hot-head. And, well, to be fair, Amrod and Amras did look the bloody same, what with being identical twins and all.
*daringly rests his chin on top of Maedhros' head (what a novelty!)* No. You never did like boys, did you? Aren't you going to introduce us to your lady-friend?
*grins* Don't let these two bother you. They've always been trouble. You get used to it. Or you abandon them in a mine shaft and hope they don't find their way out. Mostly you just get used to it.
I'd like that. I'd like that a lot. You guys are the first family I've seen since I got here. Besides Thingol, I guess, if I really want to count him. Oh, and my teenaged amnesiac mother. *smiles* Life sure is interesting!
*stands up* Findaráto. It's great to see you again. *glances at Turgon* I hope you're keeping Turvo in line? Because it's more than the rest of us can manage.
*shakes her head and grins* That's not my job, Findekáno. Your brother, your problem. I have plenty of trouble of my own... well, I guess I don't have any brothers to look after anymore. Yet, at least.
