[He had decided that he should go to Ossiriand to find Curufin, a realisation which presented him him with great confusion. This was not how Things Were Meant to Be. He was used to the sons following the father wherever he may go, not the other way around.
Normative difficulties aside, he was faced with far more practical ones when war broke out just as he'd started off on his journey. He ignored advice from authorities to return to a safe place (whatever that may be in such a situation) and doggedly carried on towards his destination. Orë may be very different from Arda but some things stay the same: Once Fëanor has decided to do something, he damn well does it, war or no war.
He slowly made his way to Ossiriand, hitching with similarly stubborn travellers or even just walking, taking a bizarre comfort in the fact that while he may be caught in the middle of a war, at least he didn't start this one.]
*Finally makes it to Ossiriand.*
*Finds that he desires, in this order:
- To see his favourite son.
- A drink.
- A shower.
- A new pair of shoes.*

Fániel, in case you'd forgotten, I have a ludicrously large family and they're usually getting themselves into various scrapes and "situations." It's not a failing, they just have very strong personalities and other people can't handle that.
But whatever the reason, it takes time and energy to deal with so no, I haven't seen our father, I haven't had time, you don't have any dependants, why can't you check on him yourself, really, what's your excuse and what are these "pills" of which you speak?
