*Heads to Middle Earth in a disembodied state after getting kind of, sort of permission from Manwë to talk to the Kindreds about what happened.*

*Finds Manwë's drinking exasperating but must confess, it's useful for plausible deniability.*

*Floats around looking for a sensible mortal to talk to.*

Oh dear Eru, they're like hen's teeth...

*Figures he might as well fall back on tried and tested options.*

*Goes searching for Finrod or Turgon.*

*finishes up stamping the few remaining Noldorin visas before packing up for the night*

*wanders out into the streets to pick up some milk before heading home for the night*

*does a body good*

Bingo.

*Plants a vague suggestion in your mind to heat that drink that milk warm before you go to bed because it promotes sleep. Good, deep, dream-filled sleep which makes ainu-kindred conversations that bit easier to facillitate.*

*is feeling very sleepy from her long day of mind-numbing paperwork*

*gets home, takes the puppy out for a walk, has a nice warm glass of milk, and heads to bed*

*is asleep almost before her head hits the pillow*

*Gently prods your mind*

Findaráto? Remember me?

*groans and wiggles a little in her sleep*

*eventually hears your voice*

Grandpa Finwë?

....

No, that's not right. Yes, yes, I know you.

Grandpa Finwë?

*Eyeroll*

Listen. This is very, very important, like, Nargothrond important. So pay attention.

It's about the war and what really caused it.
From: [info]artafinde Date: 12/03/2007 18:05:57

*really liked Nargothrond*

*is about to wander off into a dream about the hidden passageway that led to the secret room where that thing was when she hears the second part* *is suddenly as alert as a sleeping person can be*

I'm listening. I'm paying attention. What do you have to say?
From: [info]ulluboz Date: 12/03/2007 18:22:43

The Noldor didn't orchestrate this, neither did the Sindar, the kindreds are blameless on all sides.

It was Morgoth.

*feels a cold sort of terror come over her mind*

Morgoth? But he is gone. He is supposed to be gone.

*struggles further in her sleep, kicking off the bedding and scaring the dog*
From: [info]ulluboz Date: 12/05/2007 15:04:54

It's a little complicated but basically? In order for the new boy, (that would be Túrin) to kill Morgoth, he had to understand him, you know? Get inside his skin.

It seems he's been carrying the imprint of Morgoth around with him ever since the Dagorath and recently, it came out to play. He's not an issue anymore, the Powers have...dealt with him.
From: [info]artafinde Date: 12/06/2007 10:42:35

Túrin... Thingol's not going to be happy about that.

It's over, though, no longer a problem.

What is it you want me to do? Should I make the knowledge public, so everyone will stop fighting? Won't that cause a panic?
From: [info]ulluboz Date: 12/07/2007 18:45:29

Well, the leaders need to know the sore, for certain. As for the general populace...are you familiar with the concept of the noble lie?
From: [info]artafinde Date: 12/14/2007 09:33:58

I think I know exactly what you are saying. Yes, I can do this.

Thank you. I think this will solve a lot of problems.
